It wasn’t just you. There were indeed problems, and the site was down for a day. I’m glad we’re back up!
If I haven't chimed in yet for this round, please add a vote for @SensibleSal66 . Best of luck to everyone!
@Mr. Numismatist's Round 9 prize was shipped on Monday the 5th. I will try to do the Round 11 drawing sometime this afternoon or evening on Eastern US time (January 7th).
It is now time for the Round 11 drawing. Our lucky number was... 352. And post #352 was by... @ksmooter61 ... on behalf of @samclemens3991 ! Good on you, @ksmooter61 ! And COINgratulations, @samclemens3991 ! @BuffaloHunter will require your shipping address. I shall message y'all shortly. @BuffaloHunter - please post a shipping confirmation in this thread when you've mailed it. @samclemens3991 - please post a winner's receipt here when you get it. Round summary in Post #1.
It is now time for the final round in this contest, which, as I have hinted previously, is something of a "grand finale", thanks to the generosity of our kind donor, @BuffaloHunter. @BuffaloHunter gave to thee... (1) 1937-D Arkansas Centennial commemorative half dollar, PCGS MS64 PCGS cert. #04929313. This is a $175 coin, folks! To enter this round, all you need to do is: 1. Say that you want this lot, and 2. post something else coin-related or cheerful. Then, we will have the final drawing on or shortly after 12 January (depending on my schedule), after @Randy Abercrombie return from the FUN show in Florida. You may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person. Round summary in Post #1.
As a tip o' the hat for his generous donations in Rounds 5, 6, and 7, I am going to post an entry here on behalf of @Eric the Red.
Post entry for @Mr. Numismatist, Happy new year. Here is the last coin I needed to complete my certified IHC set.
I'm not sure how this will go over. But I'll give it a go anyway. A little birdie told me that @lordmarcovan has a deep affection for this commemorative. I know the logistics of him coordinating the drawing puts him in a precarious and awkward position entering for himself. Nevertheless, I'd like to put my entry in for Rob. With all due respect to every single person on the CT forum, I honestly can't pick any other member whose more deserving than he. So without further ado, please accept this entry for our most giving person on Coin Talk, Rob @lordmarcovan. I truly hope nobody has a problem with this proxy entry. Good luck to all.
Kudos to you, Russ!! You are 100% correct that Rob is absolutely deserving for everything he does with this forum.
Thank you. I will gratefully accept your ONE entry on my behalf, but don’t want anyone else to do that.
