I don't believe NGC does a very good job explaining the grading tiers. I see 5 coin minimum over and over. Many of them look very expensive. What some of them do is confusing.

For example, if I wanted the cheapest service to send in a couple gold 2008 bullion coins, a CBH and say, a quarter, just as an example).... 4 coins, all different materials and dates. Which one do you use?

However, they are trying to encourage most collectors to use a dealer. From your menagerie, a dealer who regularly submit to them could well cut you submission cost in half - and probably save you on shipping.

Ok, thanks. Sounds like it would be a better bet to go through a dealer. Will the dealer open the package when it comes back or do I get to? I wouldn't trust them if it was opened while I wasn't there.
