The big one looks to be from Austria and dates to 1765 but I can not find it in my book and the gold coin looks to possibly be from Spain but I can not be certain of this. It also appears to be dated 1749 or 1742 and has "BRASHER" on the front. Any help on what these two coins are would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    nos

Note that for size comparisons, the copper cent is actually a half cent.

The supposedly gold is absolutely not authentic.

It looks like everything on that photo is fake coinage...

Does anyone have any idea about what the gold coin is? Perhaps "BRASHER" is some sort of assayers mark? The Nurnberg Thaler and the mysterious gold coin may not be real but why would it be thought that my wonderful 1852 half cent is? I don't really see anything wrong with it, especially in the pictures.
    Thanks,

The very obvious fake is supposed to look like an 8 Reale similar to this one:

needless to say the one pictured is just a modern machined representation...wouldnt even call it a replica.

Wow, I guess that it is a fantasy piece. Thankfully I didn't pay much for it. I still think that it is neat though and I just noticed the "EB" on the back for Ephraim Brasher. Well, thanks for the help everyone!
