I happened to pick up a new lens for my camera on ebay for practically nothing :)
I don't think it's too bad until I can score a true 1:1 macro for a good price. Whatcha think?

    Sigma 28-80 f3.5-5.6 with a 1:2 macro @ 80mm. The camera body is a Sony alpha A300.

Nice ?proof?. White balance is still a bit off.

Much :) What did you do? I keep telling myself that I need to learn to use Photoshop for something other than switching people's heads!

Not a proof, just your standard NGC MS64

That ain't no standard 1883. May not be a proof, but it certainly appears prooflike (and relatively rare as such). This is a coin I've watched pretty closely over the years, and you don't see many prooflike examples -- I'd say proofs are rarer than prooflike examples of this coin...Mike

p.s. that also looks like a darn nice 64, BTW.

    Thanks :)
I think it's the contact mark on her neck that keeps it from going a little higher than 64.

You don't need photoshop for that. Your camera has a white balance setting that you need to set. My guess is that your camera will have to be in manual to set it, but read your manual.

Aside from that, the detail you have is spectacular.
