It looks like you finally got one of your photos to upload. You can actually post in the same thread and upload photos even after you post the thread. Your coin looks like someone plated it but I'd need closer/better photos to be sure. When you photograph coins, try to take straight on shots and fill as much of the frame with the coin as possible.
Have you bothered to look closely at the "rim/edge" or to compare the diameter to that of any other cent? If not, give it a try...
First, welcome to the neighborhood @Abbysunder ! Your image is too small for me to tell. It's best if you crop out the extraneous background and, then, resize the image afterward. You might also want to include a photo of the reverse. As was mentioned before, you don't need to start a new thread each time. You can either use the "Edit" function that appears at the bottom of your post or add an additional post. Now that you have created 3 separate threads for the same coin, the best remedy is to ask the Mods to combine or delete the first two threads. You can do this by opening each of the first two threads, click on "Report" at the bottom of your post and type in "Please combine with "Trying Again - Error or Slug". Chris
Oh yes and Seattlite86...I weighed it and it is .2 ounces. If it is plated would it have that weight? It is larger than a penny, around the size of a nickel without the rim.
Again, have you closely examined the rim/edge or compared the diameter to another cent? I'm suggesting this for a reason... *okay... I see you've compared the diameter (my apologies) but please do check out the other.... then google bezel.
No That's where the little screw went to hold the Bezel closed together. Or maybe yes a screw with a loop to put yhe chain through but the Cent would be facing upwards then. Here is a modern Bezel
