It's time to see the year 2000 coins of the Countries which lie in North Central Europe. These: Belgium, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, and The Netherlands. BELGIUM Bronze 50 Centimes Many collectors don't know some Belgium coins were minted bearing the Legend in French, "Belgique" while the Dutch "Belgie" was also minted. Both versions of the Bronze 50 Centimes were struck in 2000. Another little-known numismatic tidbit: both versions were struck in coin alignment and medal alignment (medal alignment scarcer). Coins in photos may not be dated 2000, but will be indicative of the type: Where I can, I'll provide coin photo links to both Legend Versions and Mintages: 60,000 of this "Belgique" 50 Centimes (1st struck in '58) were struck NCLT for sets: http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/coin.php?image=img7/18-148&desc=Belgium%20km148%2050%20Centimes%20(1956%2B)%20Belgique 60,000 of this "Belgie" 50 Centimes (1st struck in 1956) were struck as NCLTs for sets: http://worldcoingallery.com/countri...sc=Belgium km149.1 50 Centimes (1956+) Belgie Nickel Plated Iron Franc 60,000 "Belgique" for sets.
