An Error Coin You May Not Know Exists - Chapter 7

Even the coinage of Juluis Caesar's 44 B.C. Rome wasn't immune to mistakes. What makes this error coin so sought after is the fact it is a silver Denarius bearing the portrait of Julius Caesar, but more important it's the coin that declares Julius Caesar as "Dictator for Life." This coin is what helped Brutus in his decision to join ranks with Tillius Cimber, Servilius Casca, Cassius Longinus, Minucius and Rubrius, among others, to assassinate Julius Caesar because Caesar declared himself "Dictator for Life."

ROMAN 44 BC SILVER DENARIUS - JULIUS CAESAR (NON ERROR)

And now the rare error of that 44 BC Denarius:

ROMAN 44 BC SILVER DENARIUS - JULIUS CAESAR (ERROR)

Hope you enjoyed seeing this very importantly historic numismstic coin error

    To be continued...
