2 Movies Commemorated on Gold Coins In 1996 Gibraltar struck proof gold coins to create a series devoted to the Centenary of the Cinema. The coins of each set are of three sizes (denominations): 1. 13.9mm 1/25 ounce (1/25) Crown 2. 17.95mm 1/10 ounce (1/10 Crown) 3. 22mm 1/5 ounce (1/5 Crown) The proof coins were produced in sets of three coins. One set features the blockbuster movie Gone With the Wind bearing the characters Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara on their reverses while the other is dedicated to the animated movie The Flintstones. The obverses on all six coins feature Queen Elizabeth II. The reverses of each set is the same so only one photo is indicative of each set's reverse.
