I have a Washington Dollar with the following: No edge lettering Lamination on obverse an reverse and what I believe to be a die clash of Washington's eye on the reverse.
do i hear the cash register ringing oh no i am wrong you just won the jackpot. sandler you know where in chicago the errors were discovered?
No, sorry, I don't know where. I only know of two banks in Jacksonville in which they were discovered.
Ok, well I think everyone agrees with my asessment. I'm going to put one up (yes I have more than 1) on Ebay and see what happens with a Buy it Now of hmm....$400 =p
dont let an opportunity slip by ur sitting on a gold mine and if u dont cash it the person whom you sell it to will
I agree on the clashed eye. But I don't think that is a delamination. I think it is excessive die erosion. Note how it is all in a radial pattern. Neat coin !
Since another thread was closed before i could get an answer... Is the extra "ZERO" or "O" an error??
He might be talking about the extra lettering on the rim. Mr. Sandler, I have bid on 5 of your no edge dollars, but I can't seem to win an auction. I hope you have cleaned out all the local banks of rolls. I also hope you have put 20 or more away for the future, as we don't know what the final mintage will be. If under 1000, it will certainly climb in value.
Nothing is fishy! I have an auction with and dropped 0 and if this is what Hemi1500 is referring to then I'll hold my comments and let the auction speak for its self or for others to comment. If he is asking about something else I am free to comment. Simple.
Im sorry, i didnt see where you posted the picture of the error Wash Dollar. I have four rolls from the Mint and now wonder if I should open them.
Captainkirk you need spock to run the enterprise. Now just for $50 and the auction price I can help you win the auction J/k just hang in there you will win
