Some nice Celtic coin is shown, man, to have the feeling of finding something like this. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...d-discovering-69-347-Roman-Celtic-pieces.html
Great article and great pictures. But the find was in 2012. Wonder what made it newsworthy today. Did they finish the coin count? Or is it just good old fashioned click bait?
That and the website nearly crashed my browser. lol So I couldn't read the full story I used to go on dailymail a while back no problem but now they riddle the site with so many video ads.
Daily Mail wreaks havoc with my desktop computer. I still get their feeds but ignore them except to look for their news elsewhere.
I use an adblocker & Tampermonkey, which lets you block scripts, like those annoying videos, from popping up.
I have adblocker as well but if I recall correctly some sites actually won't allow you to view articles unless you have it disabled.
I sign in to the site and make comments, if I don't disable it won't let me sign in, I don't use Chrome because it does not work with several other sites I use.
For DM, use the app, I have it on my windows pc and on my android phone. I no longer go to the web site because It wants me to turn off my adblocker. The app is the best way around that. One thing about that paper, even though it is overseas it always seems first with the story, even here in the USA.
USA has sunken pirate ships off the East coast. I would love to find gold bars and coins! I'm good with that!
Nice find, but, in the UK you have to turn them over to the Coroner. They will determine the value that you get. I don't think you can keep any of them.
There is also the SS Republic wreck off Nantukett. Maybe 3 million US freshly minted Indian Head Eagles worth 2 Billion. These where destined for Russia.
I think it's time to forget the beaches and invest in this. You're gonna need lights. You can't see three inches in front around there! Heck, what I'm I saying. It's probably illegal. Whatever you find, Cuomo will probably take!
