    I thought I saw a link posted here sometime back and I am hoping someone knows it or another that translates japanese to english for coins.

    Thanks for any help

    just google "currency converter" they have it for most countries.

    I just realized that you were looking for coins.I am sure you can google something to that effect also.

    If not ..just use the currency converter.. Do the conversion for the lowest value note and then divide your answer by the appropriate value

    Not really sure what you are looking for, but here's the best site on the internet for dating Japanese coins, including determination of the Imperial era.

    You can also navigate the site to see images of various coins, or you can go to the Japan Mint Bureau English language site.

    I have made many trips to Japan with my Wife and for work. I'm always looking through pocket change trying to put together date sets and spending the duplicates. It's a fun thing to do when there is not much on TV. :)
