And people wonder why Kant, Hegel, and Wittgenstein are hard to understand.

 

Actually "colonials" would simply be "Koloniale" in German. But then people over here would have no idea what colonies the term refers to

If you think that's bad, trying reading Karl Barth's theology in German sometime. If you think it's difficult to grasp in the English translation (it is), however good it may be, the original German (he was actually Swiss) is near impossible for a native English speaker.
