Trajan Denarius. IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TRP COS VI P P, lauteate head right draped far shoulder / SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Virtus standing right, left foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium. RIC 289
Bojan, nice score, lordmarcovan is right, the dark toning frames the details well. Last year I sold a rare tetradrachm struck in Tyre, Phoenicia under Trajan's reign, pictured below. The coin has a very unusual composition of Trajan's bust above an eagle, & the club of Hercules in the right field on the obverse, & a portrait of Hercules on the reverse, 14.27 gm, Prieur #455A.
Very nice coin - tough to beat a nice TrajanDenarius. I buy a lot of 3rd and 4th century stuff, but Trajans ARs are my favorite individual coin. The OP is a nice one.
Nice coin @Bojan . He certainly like to claim so on his coins with his "OPTIMPO PRIC" In my opinion he also has some of the most interesting reverse types of any emperor.
