239 different auctions for fake trade dollars and morgans....Now you wonder where all the fakes come from

Those coins are not even marked COPY. How are they able to get away with selling these on Ebay?

 

cause it says replica in the title....Yeah i dont agree with it either

 

I hit the first link (trade dollars). It appears some of the coins have the word "REPLICA" stamped in the obverse field in front of Liberty.

I'm with you guys... I have no interest in this sort of thing. No accounting for taste, I suppose.

They voluntarily stamped 'em "REPLICA" - without that, they're counterfeits. It would be interesting to get a good look at a few up close.
