Is there a different grading scale used by TPG's for proof coins? I sent ANACS a 1985 S Kennedy, it came back PF 66 DCAM. I'm looking at it with my 10x glass and it looks flawless; hence my question, Thanks.

Not really a different grading scale no, but there are special things about proofs that might make flaws more pronounced. For instance, those inky black fields really do highlight every spec of dust and hairlines.

Is there any haziness, rim damage, hairlines in the fields, fingerprints? Can you show a photo of the coin?

I can do that, but I question the quality You really need to hold it in your hand with a magnifying device to achieve a full appreciation. Do you still want me to post? You could come to my house and look at it. (LOL)

Anacs always seems to under-grade their coins
that's one of the reasons I love buying their slabs

All the grading companies have their own strengths and weaknesses. You have to see their strong and weak areas with your own eyes. There is no "grading scale".

How do we change this numismatic culture of mandating TPG,s?
