It's a decent coin, but not a $400 MS-66; foolish company and seller.

That's a interesting slab, it looks like they cut holes in shipping foam, and are using that to hold the coins. Btw it looks like there was a fingerprint on the obv, I think it's been retoned too.

Is that thing unc. I don't like the insert in NNC, it looks like something that'll break down rather quickly with disasterous consequenses.

Hmm...this scardinal guy on eBay is either another name for Centsles, or one of his associates. He handles a lot of NNC "slabs", which incidentally are done by Centsles himself to sell his coins. I did the research once--it's a matter of public record. Imo, the way NNC grades is optimistic at best--and I think problem coins get in those things.

Not that it really matters, but those "slabs" are polystyrene that's been spot-glued together. There is no real seal around the coins like reputable TPG slabs. I know, I've broken one apart a few years back.

Whats funny is that guy who owns NNC won the PCGS World Series of grading a few years back.....he DOES know how to grade. I am amazed at the amount of NNC slabs I see at shows, and I know where most of them come from.....the Bay.

Well, OK--not to cast aspersions on Centsles, but on coins I collect like Australia predecimal (which has its own standards)--his grades are not up to par (IMO).

NNC is not as blatant as say an SGS or WCG......you can actually cherrypick them ON OCCASION because they are so heavily discounted....

Keep you eyes open and you might be suprised

Good thoughts everyone. I was speachless, which doesn't happen very often. Idle curiosity drives me to check to see if anyone bids on it.

They must have heard you Vincent2920, no bids as of a few minutes ago.

I'm just curious to see if anyone would buy it.
