    that woulda graded high if it wasnt for that melt spot

    Looks more like a chemical burn rather than heat. Heat would most likely have affected the reverse side too.

    Seen this before. It was someone using the Peacey as a cigarettee ash tray in a pinch.

    Sad to see damage like that to an otherwise nice coin.

    Hey, at least it wasn't one year later because then I would probably cry. That would be so sad to see a torched '28-P considering the rarity. It hurts even thinking about it :so-sad:

    Ya but a nice !927 can be hard to come by. Too bad it wasn't a 22 or 23.
