A beautiful Gem grade Morgan Dollar, a 1887 PCGS MS-65, Vam 12, Alligator Eye. That scrape in front of her eye is on the coin but in hand you can barely see. The camera really picks it up though. She also has a few scrapes on her chin. Given that I think a 65 is a grade high. Outstanding reverse and this coin is difficult to find in gem grade. 0EC7D973-32E0-479E-8844-D02CF24686B0.jpeg 09786031-97AA-433D-922D-00B819E5FC72.jpeg B05440C0-077E-456E-99A6-A157F98A6166.jpeg

A nice example! Seen some MS 63 and 64 but rarely 65 and above.

Not sure that I would be Gem on that coin, it must have some amazing luster. Still a beautiful coin. Those are some good photos Collect.

I would have gone a 64 but she does have luster to spare with the coin in hand and I could not that on the photos.

It shows and the reason it got a 65.

Glad to hear the luster shows. I look at the photos and the coin and gave up trying to capture it. Lol
