I have a Toonie that is all gold in colour. Anyone hear about one of these. No one seems to know anything about the coin.
Gold is pretty expensive now, so your all gold toonie is worth more than two dollars... ps how do you know it is solid gold and not gold plated?
Hey do you think you could post a picture , I remember the mint making gold centers with a silver outer ring and visa versa but never all gold. I'm looking around
Thread on photo upload But if you really just joined to ask this single question you could always send me the pic and I could post it for you in this thread. If you wish to do so you can e-mail me here: weryon@hotmail.com

Is it magnetic? Check to see if it sticks to a magnet, if it does it is most likely just a plated toonie.
It is magnetic. I know its not gold. It's gold in colour. I want to know if it is rare or if there are many like it out there?
Error Toonie Hi again - my "silver toonie" was solid nickel and a magnet stuck to it - have you had any luck with your all "gold toonie"??
