I've been eyeing this coin on eBay:

It looks too nice to be from the 1830's.. and this cheap. The seller is in Turkey so I suppose that could explain their price and it's availability, but I'm worried that it's counterfeit. Any advice?

What is it supposed to be? I mean what is it advertised to be by the seller?

Take a look at UK Ebay site... SEARCH for item no 390034994704 to find one similar. Best wishes, Mike.

A copper LEPTON from the Greek Isles?

My 2nd edition Standard Catalog of World Coins 1801 - 1900 says

    FINE $2
    VF $7
    EF $20

It's a 1 Lepton coin from the Ionian Islands, 1834. Most coins from the Ionians that I've seen have been quite pricey, but if you're seeing $20, then it all seems to be in line.
