I'm not usually a big fan of toned coins unless the toning is rainbow-like,the way the coin in Silvrluvr's avatar looks.I have this 1845 1/2 dime that has some very pretty toning and hopefully it will come out in the pictures..i'll try. I'd like to see pictures of your nicest toned coins,silver that is...
That coin looks nice to me. I like the darker colors on the periphery. I like light colors all over the coin too if they allow the luster to show through. Anything darker than that is too dark for my tastes. I also don't care for artificial 'monster' toning. I think I like the 'old album' toning the most. I'll look through my collection to see if I have anything worth posting....
