Hello all, I found a few graded toned Morgan dollars on eBay that look highly interesting and I have rough estimations for their value based on similar sales on HA and GC, but I just want your value for these coins. Thanks for helping! Thanks for help!!!
You do know that’s not how this works, right? You will get them from eBay at retail cost, what makes you think anyone is going to pay more, just because you are listing it?
Well I find the low price ones and the auctions with bad pictures that nobody really wants to look at. None of those coins are priced above $80, and some of them could easily be sold for double their sale price.
Also the first one has very obvious textile toning on the cheek, which is more desired. The first one is only for $70, second has no bids and is at $59, third is at one bid at $19, and last is at no bids for $40.
But if no one is bidding on them now, why would they bid on them when you are selling them? Honest question. Do you have huge amounts of feedback or amazing photography skills.
You can check out my eBay page by clicking my name and going to the main page (you know what I mean by that). In my opinion, my pictures are not bad and I have around 30 feedbacks left, all of which are positive.
Most of your feedback is from you buying, which people don’t value when they are buying from you. Also, you have been selling the same Buffalo with the overhyped title for a while now. I’m not trying to be mean, I’d love to see you succeed, but you need to educate yourself more and plan this out a little better. Also, you are constantly asking this forum for pricing and grading. While this is typically fine, you are using this group to try and turn a profit. Maybe you need to start cutting members in on the money you are making.
About the overhyped title, you know you have to make money, and eBay doesn't have any limits for the amount of hype in the title. Kind of like YouTube, they want you to use clickbait and thumbnails that want to make you want to click on the video so that Youtube can take some money from the ads that run on the videos that are uploaded. Also, most of the money I have made flipping coins on eBay was before I kept bugging you guys with questions for value and all. Also, would you make me pay you if I just said they were already mine and I needed an estimation because I bought them a long time ago and the market has changed? As well, do you ask for money from all the beginners who ask questions every couple of minutes about common coins? When I ask this forum questions, it's so that I can learn more about coins. If I had to pay for every question I asked you guys, I would never learn as fast and as much because I wouldn't ask you questions.
Idk man, i'd bid 45-50 on the second and third, just because i like them a little. That toning is darn near terminal, they're interesting, but not worth a huge premium, imo.
Dude, your name is @toned_morgan .....I expect that you would know about..........toned morgans. I've only seen you asking about values of coins you have found on ebay. Perhaps you need to learn some more yourself before trying to dive in and make a buck. Also, it's kinda messed up that all you seem to be doing is using people on this site, who have real knowledge, to make a quick dollar.
Well, what else am I supposed to be doing on a coin forum. Sharing recent coins or anything like that is kind of like showing off imo, so all I really do here is ask questions about coins.
You know what, I'm going to leave this site and move to Collector's Universe. I'll see how they react when I do what you're supposed to do on a forum....... Goodbye.
Just a schmuck trying to capitalize on the knowledge and generosity of strangers while doing no work themselves.
