I was hoping that someone might be able to give me a ballpark figure of what this token is worth. A local coin dealer thst I'm friends with suggested that I submit it to the Heritage Auction House after not turning up much about it. We found two other examples of this token. One was being sold by a private owner on eBay and I don't think he knows exactly what he has, and the other example is at the Smithsonian. It's said not to be on display at the moment but it shows pictures. After submitting the coin I was told later after a few more emails and photos had been sent back and forth that they weren't able to place the token in auction because it fell right under their five thousand dollar minimum. So any information of its value would be greatly appreciated.
