Hi all, I don't own this token, a friend asked me to see what I could find out. Any ideas? both obverse and reverse are the same. Thanks!
It looks to be a trade token of some sort Mark. The "5" probably indicates a value of five cents or five dollars ( period after the number). The style looks old, but I'm not sure it is. The "5" with the horizontal lines is 1880-1910 style numbering. A wild guess would be 1900, possibly a saloon token. Sorry, that's the best I can do. Bruce
I checked into your piece a bit Mark, and apparently it's a slot machine token. It's listed as a Nevada piece (Vegas?). I guess the name of the establishment was the Little Chief, but that's about all I could come up with. There are casino chip collectors on the forum who might be able to help you. Bruce
