    Doublecheck your 1939 to see if you have the Type 1 (1938) or Type 2 (commonly referred to as the 1940) reverse design. Type 1 nickels are worth more than Type 2. Maybe 10x more valuable depending on the grade.

    Your specimen may have a hit on the S of PLURIBUS. The S that does not have the serif is the Type 1. Type 2 otherwise.
