I haven't had any luck finding any W quarters in the past 13 months, especially the 2020s. However, my till at Home Depot had a pleasant surprise waiting for me earlier this afternoon. Granted, I've found plenty of AMP W's in the past, but it's certainly a better find than the average common-date wheat cent.
Nice! This design seems to be in higher demand. So far, I have found 2 American Memorial Park and 1 San Antonio Missions W quarters.
True, but I highly doubt that this particular example would realize a price that high. Back in 2019, my local area was absolutely flooded with the AMP quarters, and my grandfather also found several W's of this particular design in SE Georgia. It would seem that this design was widely distributed throughout the Atlanta Federal Reserve district back in 2019
I feel the same way about the Salt River Bay ATB quarter. They're everywhere here in Tennessee, and not a single W to be found among them. In all honesty, I've seen enough of these to make my eyes bleed.
Here in Tennessee, it's much easier to find D's than P's on the East Coast. I've already found quite a few Tuskeegee Airmen ATB quarters from both mints.
Nice find! I went through about 150 circulated quarters and didn’t even find one. ( which I’m not surprised they are hard to come across )
Strangely enough, the ratio of D mint to P mint is way overbalanced in my area, I find about 8 D's out of every 10 quarters, the other 2 are P's... Go figger lol
I've noticed much the same myself, especially in regards to the 2020s. It would seem that the Fed did a poor job of evenly distributing these throughout the country.
