    Very cool @galba68 - my chances of finding anything like this in the U.S. are slim and none. I wonder what the coins will clean up to be.

    I wish I lived in a place with enough history to allow finding stuff like that. I pursued metal detecting as a hobby in the US for a couple of years, but after finding nothing but bottle caps and gum wrappers, it lost the appeal for me. This sucks because as a hobby, it's right up my alley (Outdoor activity, focus on history, satiates the treasure hunting instinct, etc, etc).

    Edit: In this context, History = History involving metal :pompous:.

    everyone thinks lm working with hi tech metal detector, with so many buttons, with this and that..and must be 100% expensive and fancy to show up..WRONG!!! l bought this one a few years ago and l would never change it..and cost me 200 dollars..

    very good detector..but you really must have that "filling" to work with this one..what is your experience with this detector?

    Not sure what you mean filling?
    I find it easy to use also it being wireless

    friends who use xp deus say they need to get used after old machines..and, okidoki, l thought of "feeling" not "filling"..sorry..
