I would say so, who knows who has determined if they are MS-63 or MS-64. Plus, the PCGS price guide (which everyone knows is completely accurate ) lists an 1890-CC MS-63 as $1000 and an MS-64 as $2600. So, I'd say $1575 and $3575 respectively is a little high. :rolling:
pupa, Peruse the Morgans at a local or nearby Coin Show (if you have any upcoming in the near future) and you can probably get a much better deal! Frank
They show: MS-63 Carson City Collection 1890-CC $1,624.95 and MS-64 Carson City Collection 1890-CC $3,824.95 Since trends is $4500 and $6,000 (for the 63 & 64 respectively) do you really think that you will get either a 63 or a 64 for about 1/3 of the price (63) or 36% off (on the 64)? Unless they are slabbed by NGC or PCGS, pass. They say: "These coins are being independently graded and certified and will carry the unique Carson City Collection pedigree in each sonically sealed holder." Graded by who? SGS? SAL'S GRADING SERIVCE? I'd pass unless a top tier service. The other Frank
Hey Frank, That is a good one! Isn't Sal your old Uncle from Jersey City who taught you how to say "Forgitaboudit" and "Whatsamattaforu" and states that if you don't like his grading, he has a pair of concrete overshoes for you??? Frank
Yes, it is. I saw this add about a week ago and ignored it. A review of the Heritage website shows that MS-63 for 1890-CC was about $800.
Eh, Frankie, uh, ya wanna meet in a dark alley? Yeah, he is my Unk. So, what's it to ya? Forgitaboudit Frank P.S. Yeah, Uncle Sallie has a company, and he does very well thank you. He wants to know what size shoes ya wear.
