For those of you planning to attend the FUN Show, if you want to spend your time on the bourse floor most efficiently, you might consider developing your plan of attack well in advance. FUN has posted their bourse map, keyed to the list of dealers taking booths at the show. Visit http://www.funtopics.com/content/forms/FUN_2015_Floor_Plan.pdf for the bourse map, and visit http://www.funtopics.com/content/fun-convention/fun-dealer-directory.html for the dealer table directory. - Mike
I wont be attending, but nice to see a big list of quality dealers. I see a couple of my regular dealers, namely Bozarth and DLRC and Northeast. I don't see @Tom B on there, wonder if he's skipping. I think he does share a table sometimes with Numismatic Americana, and I see them listed, so maybe that's it.
I went last year, but I'm having a hard time making sense of the map. ARE the entrance doors at the bottom of the map? The layout is completely different from last year.
The US Mint is there this year? Have they been there before? Any new releases we can stand in line for?
You will find me back in the teeny tiny coin geek area, (Ancient and Foreign), unless I wander out to meet CT members roaming around.
Yes, entrance doors are at the bottom of the map. I don't keep track of modern offerings from the US Mint, but yes, the Mint has been represented at the FUN Show many times. To the best of my knowledge, the FUN Show has always been held in Florida (FUN stands for Florida United Numismatists).
Thanks @ToughCOINS . The layout was so different from last year that I was having a hard time even orienting myself. I appreciate the links to the updated information!
I'm at 1208 set up with Bill Shamhart of Numismatic Americana. We are in the front near the right side as you enter.
Yeah, looks like they rearranged things. I'll have to see when we get there, but I think I might actually like this floorplan better.
Wife and I will be there. I blew off the auction in BKK...decided his starting prices were too high. Did meet up with our lady friends at the treasury though.
