I the m in unum perhaps a tilted hub double? I have been searching for a while as to what this is. Would love to know if anyone has any info on this.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that tilted hub doubling is when the face of the die is not perfectly flush with the hub causing it to strike at an angle. This appears to be machine doubling. Chris
Awfully, awfully familiar..... http://www.cointalk.com/t214043/ OP, If you truly think this a variety, do as was suggested and contact Mr. Wexler. Not only can you have the coin properly attributed (SD or a genuine variety) but also learn from the experience.
