    Prompt please. Who imagine on the TIBET CHINA 1939 RUPEE? I have a catalogue but there is not this information.:(

    The image on the 1939 Tibetan rupee is pretty much the same as all of the other 20th century Tibet rupees (it appears to be the Dalai Lama facing to the left). Collar, no-collar, and flat nose varieties are listed in the Krause catalog, but they all look pretty much the same to me.

    This is a very heavily counterfeited coin, and the Tibetan government even issued debased coins in the same pattern c1940-1942.

    If China issued coins for circulation in Tibet at this time (while it was still an independent country), I don't see any record of it.
