Not rare at all. The wartime nickel is worth about $1.90. The buffalo maybe 50 cents and the V nickel about the same.
okay thank you, we got them from American Coin Treasures and they have them in a little folder type thing saying that they were rare nickels thats why we decided to put them up on here to see what everyone thought
Another rip-off joint to stay clear away from. I hope you didn't pay to much for them, is it too late to return them?
Man look at this place $500 for a gold dollar. http://www.americancointreasures.com/Gold_Dollar_p/3110.htm $70 for a two cent piece. http://www.americancointreasures.com/2_Cent_Piece_p/1764.htm $150 for a 2 cent piece, a civil war cent, and a 3 cent nickel. http://www.americancointreasures.com/Obsolete_Coins_of_the_Civil_War_p/1794.htm
As stated, none of those are rare. The 45S had 58,939,000 strikes, the 35 Buffalo had 58,264,000 strikes and the 1901 had 26,478,228 strikes. Each worth about $2.
