    I think this one has been cleaned of a high corrosion state (obverse), plus it has a die clash which I hear is a fairly common thing for this series of coin.
    Its a bit mad on obverse with center weakness on both side.
    Overall it is a poor specimen of nicely designed coin.
    Reverse purposely inverted to show die clash.

    This one has a full 180 degree rotated dies error. I cracked it out of the ANACS holder and used acetone to remove the glue residue.

    Let me put it this way, I suspect that this coin had heavy corrosion that was removed which left the pitted areas.

    1865 Nickel Three Cent Piece. This one has some nice clash marks which shows some of the problems that Philadelphia Mint had striking these coins. I wish I still owned it.
