Our coinage was center stage during the 1896 presidential campaign and to a lesser extent in 1900. William Jennings Bryan was running on the platform that silver should be coined in unlimited quantities into silver dollars.

Here are three items that are coin related.

This piece was the gold dollar is a pro-McKinley piece. He favored the Gold Standard.

This pro-Bryan piece is based around a Morgan Silver Dollar. This is much scarcer than the previous piece.

And this anti-Bryan pieces called for opening mills not mints.
