I had the luck of acquiring such a beatifully "rainbow-toned" greek. It has been some time since I've purchased a greek in such pristine condition. Although, the patina and toning is was struck me. I couldn't pass it up. Thrace, Istros AR Drachm. 4th Century BC. Facing male heads, the right inverted / IΣTPIH, Sea-eagle left, grasping dolphin with talon, Monogram below 18.1mm 5.50 g.
Once again I am envious. A very nice coin, the design of which I have been wanting for some time. Congrats!
I feel dirty, but I see an opportunity to post one of my sweet coins => please forgive my coin-sins!!
I will take the opportunity to display mine too. The A below makes it quite common but it is a pleasing grade. Martin
