Thrace, Istros Drachm

  1. I had the luck of acquiring such a beatifully "rainbow-toned" greek. It has been some time since I've purchased a greek in such pristine condition. Although, the patina and toning is was struck me. I couldn't pass it up.

    Thrace, Istros AR Drachm. 4th Century BC. Facing male heads, the right inverted / IΣTPIH, Sea-eagle left, grasping dolphin with talon, Monogram below
