Hmmm? Obverse looks like scratches but rev looks quite different. Pros will chime in.
Environmental damage. You can weigh it, but I imagine that it weighs correctly.

I am no pro, I have just dug my fair share of coins from the ground.

Looks like it might have been in a campfire before finding its way back into circulation.
I’d be inclined to call that PMD.
