Thoughts on this one? Very large PB tessera / weight, H in wreath

    Got this one in a fun mixed lot from CNG. Thought it might be a weight, but I haven't been able to find much.

    PB Tessera or weight
    About 40mm, 38.39g
    Both sides: H within ornate wreath (reverse is pretty encrusted)

    Way out of my element here... any ideas? I presume it to be Roman or Byzantine, but in truth I'm not certain.

    Most of these tessera are probably game tokens or tickets for events. As far as finding out what specific game or event that coin represents, I have no idea.

    It's still nice though.
