Thoughts On This 1988 Lincoln Cent

I'm sure I have tossed many of these back. Just because I didn't believe it was the Error. Thoughts on this greatly appreciated!

The A in American is really the only conclusion for me to have for it to be legit.

 

The 1988 variety has nothing to do with the position of the (AM) the FG is what matters and by your pictures it's normal.

 

The FG is what matters. Yours is a little washed out but it doesn't look like the '89 to me.

It's not an error, it's a variety.

Most know my position on Zincolns, but I like that the Memorial lawn was mowed with such accuracy. LOL
