My thoughts? It's a darn nice coin! Is its date recut by chance? The bottom of the 4 looks like it could be.

 

What about the 8 &5? As well as the 1 all to my eyes show some sort of underlying devices .

 

Tag SuperDave He'll look it up. My books at the office. Looks like the same doubling as seen on Indian cents and it is common on these coins also.

I'll look it up Monday in Wiley Bugart (hope I spelled names OK).

 

My thoughts - XF45 if the surfaces ain't been stripped away(hard to tell)

Insider I was down in your neck of the woods this past week on business .

 

I don't really know this series very well, but it looks like the coinfacts image. They don't give any reference for the variety.

 

The SLH is a hole in my collection. Wish I could swipe that one to fill it.

No I'm in the food business. I was down for 3 store grand openings . Lauderdale , Orlando & Largo.
