Chris is correct. That is not a coin, it is a medal. They have no precious metal content, were made in mass quantities, rather crudely and have little to no retail value. I have accumulated many, many of them at my shop and would probably kiss the person who would give me a dollar each for them.
Wallace Wisdom: The difference between a coin and a metal is a coin has a monetary value and issuing government's name on it a metal doesn't have either. Metals also have the obverse and reverse in the same orientation, you just turn the metal to see the other side, you don't flip it over. Some metals have value, I have Lincoln's inaugural metal, that has monetary value, and I have Kennedy's inaugural metal, that has more of a sentimental value. I also have a metal put out by Republica de Guinea Ecuatorial that has on it Maja Desnuda Goya which is a Goya Nude that has value. I have others, but I think I've listed enough.
