Overall, I've had a much better week this week than that last several weeks. Well, here are my highlights for the past week. 1936 Lincoln Cent in unusually nice condition. 1940D Mercury Dime in unusually nice condition. 1899 Barber (my oldest find and only my second Barber) 1996D Roosevelt Dime with Partial Collar Broadstrike (sorry it's not pictured. The planchet was obviously tilted as one side squeezed out past the collar really nicely) 2000S 90% Ag Roosevelt Dime 2006S 90% Ag Roosevelt Dime 1943 Liberty Walking Halve (nothing special about this coin, just couldn't believe someone would damage this coin like this, at least I call it "damage") My Jackpot of the week goes to the CWI box that gave me the Barber. The totals for that box are as follows: 3 40% Ag Kennedies, 21 90% Ag Kennedies, 22 Franklins, 21 Walking Liberties, and 1 Barber. This box really made up for the past few weeks which were really poor for halves.
Just about everything in my collection was found at face value. All of these coins were from roll searching. You guys should have heard me when I saw that Barber on the end of a roll (and a Franklin opposite of it). I set all the rolls with good coins on the end aside for my son to open. I could not wait for him to open that roll (ultimately I did wait and he was pretty excited about finding his first Barber Half, although I tried handing him the roll with the Franklin facing him, he still noticed it before he opened the roll). I picked that jackpot box up with 7 other CWI boxes with the same date. There was a total of 4 40%ers in the remaining 7 boxes.
