This smooth from the mint?

    I do not spend much time looking for error coins, my eye is just not good enough to make it worthwhile for me. But this Lincoln Cent is shiny smooth on the obverse, with the head of Lincoln and barely make out the word Liberty. Is this an error coin, or is this post-mint damage? It is a zinc coin. Reverse shows normal wear. Please don't flame me, I am just curious.

    Is it 2.5g or 3.1g?
