By the time that coin sells at that price it will probably be naturally toned again and 50 years older.
Obviously a braindead vendor trying to scam people. It goes to show what happens when FlogBay lets these lowlife scum on to commit fraud & daylight robbery on a grand scale. Aidan.
You guys are missing an important fact here. This coin is an ultra rare au++++ overton 1105968392010.4432. It is a mega proof au+. Coin trends 6 billion in mega proof AU. (Source needed). Not sure if I'm using the right lingo here, but that coin is a real dog.
Jim,I think that someone should check with the A.N.A. to see if they are a member. If it turns out that they are a member, then they could be expelled from membership of the A.N.A. & be forced to pull the logo off their website & off their advertising. Aidan.
"Someone" has already contacted the ANA and asked this very question. Funny you should mention it. :smile
Jim,it will be very interesting to find out the result is,& who that offender in the U.S. numismatic trade is.These sharks need to be exposed & weeded out,as these sharks are an embarrassment to the numismatic community. Do you agree with me on this? Aidan.
undergraded!!! According the the sellers sales pitch, this coin is undergraded and they have 32 years experience in grading coins!!:desk: So that must make that coin at least an ms 63............. with a very very weak strike. The scratches must be from other coins sliding past it when it got stuck in a hopper chute or something.
Vipergts2,that has to be THE lamest excuse from any dealer or online vendor. It sounds like they need to have their heads examined to see how braindead they really are. Aidan.
Au....ha!! Thier au claim would have been a little easier to swallow (a very little) if they had not added the conservative part and the 32 years experience. it gives the ana a bad name when members pull #@#% like that.
Vipergts2,someone is in the process of doing a check with the A.N.A. to see if they are a member. If it turns out that they are, then they're goneburgers. If it turns out that they're not members, then the A.N.A. can take legal action to have these offenders prosecuted,as displaying a logo of an organisation that has been registered as a trademark when they are not entitled to is an offence.I am sure that Roy can explain a bit more in relation to the legal side of things here than I can. Aidan.
