This nickle is rough but look at the united

    This nickle is in rough shape but I decided to look at it anyways. Is this a cud on united and the NI are touching at the top

    Possible dropper letter. Cuds are on the rim of a coin no where else...

    No error on the nickel.

    What you see are contact
    marks from the coin being
    in circulation.

    There's is something on the IT possible die chip or dropped letter and yes plenty of pmd for sure.

    Don't know if it be of any value than 5 cents the coin is very rough or alot of pmd trying to get the proper language going

    To me, the mark across the "IT" looks like it is a gouge that has long since been mashed down by 36 years of circulation. Granted, a better close-up would be helpful, but the slight recess along the top of the mark suggests that it was a gouge.

    That's not much better. What you should do is crop out all of the image surrounding "IT" and then resize it. When you upload the image, be sure to select "Full Image" rather than "Thumbnail".
