Well 2pcs for 5$ - lets hope nobody thinks they are anything but replicas! But you never know. "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that." source: http://jokes4us.com/peoplejokes/comedianjokes/georgecarlinjokes.html
Doofus is fairly fitting, but what to call infinitely more doofus-like buyers? There comes a point when people need a lesson and to get exactly what they deserve. Big poppa ebay may be there to protect the stupid from themselves now, but these are the same type of idiots who buy in person and whine and cry when they didn't get their rip. We can dislike peddlers of such things all we want, but the fact is that if moron buyers looked before they leaped, the problem would be nowhere near what it is. Sometimes the best lesson is to get exactly what they asked for.
Hmm. Tell me more about this point at which fraud somehow magically changes from an unethical (and usually illegal) activity to a desirable way of "culling the herd". Should the ANA, as part of its educational mission, start manufacturing and selling fakes to people who "need a lesson"?
Well if a fraudulent coin seller doesn't get them there's a big world out there just waiting to pounce on your "herd".
The primary buyers of low cost fake 89cc's that are fairly GOOD and highly deceptive like those are resellers that will sell as authentic. The buyer(s) knew EXACTLY what they were buying. And I bet it was only 1 or 2 buyers at best that bought all 5 or 6 before it was removed
We aren't going to stop fraudulent coin sellers, especially on EBay. The only cure comes from buyers leaving their junk on the shelves. Unfortunately, there are those who won't do their homework before buying, and the usual something-for-nothing crowd that will jump right into their traps.
