On Monday I bought a bag of $25 worth of nickels to search. I have a reward plan when I find coins that are 100+ years or older and turned up these little darlings: Sorry bad phone pics - but a nice VF 1906, an AG 1907 and a dateless Buffer. So today I went out there on my errands and stopped by the bank to give them their box of candies that I give when I find stuff like these. So I am asking the teller if she has any other goodies that I cannot possibly live without. "I only have $3.50 in halves but you might be interested in these...": I tell you, schmoozing with the tellers and giving them goodies does pay off - that is six 40% and a 1942 Walker.
Wow. Very nice. I must not be doing enough Schmoozing at my local branch. However The branch manager did just order me a box of half dollars to look threw
