Why don't they go back to the beauty of these designs? All of the new notes are just plain ugly in comparison.
I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! The only note we have these days in the states that has ANY beauty is the $2 note and that is on the reverse. If they even went back to similar designs on small size notes it would still be an improvement.
WOW!! Again!!! I have been away from the site for a few months and just came back tonight! What in the world am I seeing upon my return but Beautiful New York Notes!!! I agree, but maybe, 80 or 90 years ago, everyone said "Why can't have those beautiful 1860's bills again?". Perhaps, 80 years from now, people will be saying "WOW! 2003 $20! Why can't we have more bills like that instead of this modern crap." Or maybe they are just butt ugly...
