Guy;s hello! Hope all is well? Off the Sourthern most part of Barbados with friends on a 56' Cat!! Wowo what a trip!! The Satelite link is costing a fortune to say the least..LOL.. I did catch the last 12 min of the Heritage Auctions last evening to watch my bids... Here is what I got...been looking for this Star for a while and a nice little script to boot!! Be back in about another 4-5 days... Catch up then... RickieB
i would dare to guess the SAT link lovely notes, as usual, RickieB. The serial is mighty close to the sig on the $20. very very close!
I just want to say that RickieB is living the american dream. I truely look forward to seeing this collection on display, personally I believe it is already sufficiently complete to start an exhibit about the New York Federal Reserve. My question is, other than notes, what other NY FRB memorabilia do you have?
Ricki B keeps this up I'm going to start browsing more currency & less coins... I love that 25 cent note.
Hey Peter... Never expected to hear from you on notes!! The SAT link was $10 sign on 3.50 /min I spent 12 min on Heritage and about 7 to 10 min going through my home computer with PC anywhere. The cost of the link was just over $60 US and the notes were only $30 more LOL Thanks for taking a look! RickieB
Thanks everyone for the remarks... The little 25 cent note was a total surprise for me....I was being sniped on it and said what to hey??? So I put a huge Max bid in that stopped the sniper!! The rubber plunger must have scared him off!! LOL RickieB
Gatzdon... I appreciate the comments on my collection, Thank you! However, for me, it is not nearly complete enough to display. I still need two $500 notes (1934 and 1934-A) and 1 $1000.00 note plus a bunch of 50's and 100's to even think of this. I am on a search for early stars at the moment and have my eye on some nice one's coming onto the market! Perhaps one day, it will be ready..but later than sooner! I am flattered by your comments! Regards, RickieB
