That eBay vendor is braindead.MS - give us a break! It isn't MS anything. That Lincoln 1c. has been whizzed as well as cleaned. In my view,it would be worth its face value of 1c.

That is not true. It is worth more than that in copper value.;)

    MS Circulated

    Darn,

Guess I was generous as I told him it might be worth a nickel.

God this is funny! Here's my question.

    "Congratulations!

Your auction has made it's way to Cointalk a site that seriously discusses coins.
An MS65 RD coin can not be circulated as well. Good pictures - terrible contradiction of terms. Worth a nickel at tops not $30."

I wonder if we'll all get replies?

Glad that you liked it but do you think this moron will be of any use here? I doubt he'll do the research but as ebay forums go hmmmmm?

Clembo, you should post a link on the eBay forums.Who knows,we may get some of the real collectors on there to come on over here.

My wife is looking into the Feepay policies now. After all if this garbage sells they make money. Don't want to break the rules as I occasionally resort to selling there these days. Overstock would be a good candidate too but those people are beyond brain dead for the most part.

Will do some digging and see what we can come up with. Till then time for sleep. Getting late on this side of the world.

These days,my boss hardly puts anything on FleaBay these days.He is busy putting up stuff on Trade Me,which now only allows New Zealanders to be members, plus any Aussie members must have a bank account in New Zealand

Here's an auction website; www.bidorbuy.co.za .It is a South African auction website, but they do allow international traders to be members,&,yes, they have got a forum. The prices are in Rand.

I recently had a seller send me an entirely different item than displayed & won; the PCGS cert number didn't match. Ebay won't do anything about it ~ even after the seller used profanity, threats and harassment in his emails. Pay Pal won't do anything about it. And why not - the seller pays them, not the buyer. Buyer protection is a farce.

Alot of times sellers sell a coin tha they have alot of and put somewhere in the action that the Cert. number might be different. I guess as long as the coin is the same date/mintmark/grade then I don't see awhole lot of problem with that.

This is his other item for sale:

    "1906 Indian Penny MS63 RB / MS60 BR
This is an really old penny. Is in good condition. Is great for any coin collector.
I am not sure what type of penny this is thro. A friend gave it to me. So you should really check the picture closely. "

Hmm.......it is an "Indian Penny" but he dosen't know what type of coin it is.
Check the pictures, MS 63 RB? for a G-4 (at best).
    MS= Mutilated Stuff?
    Mostly Sh--?
