    I purchased this coin simply because it's a brockage. However it checks a lot of my coin collection boxes:

    Congrats @-monolith- A nice AE brockage...
    This coin checks a few boxes for me:
    1) Brockage
    2) Roman Republic
    3) VF with a nice well centered portrait of Roma

    That's an attractive patina and that's quite an impressive array of coins of Gordian III.
